Hollyhock Crepe Paper Costume
materials needed (16 year old size):
2 Folds No. 46 Leaf Green Crepe Paper
1 Fold No. 41 Apple Green Crepe Paper
1 Fold No. 364 Decorated Crepe Paper
1 Sheet No. 13 Mat Stock
The foundation is a plain long waist to which is attached a skirt of fringe.
Panels of double crepe fluted on the edges extend from the shoulders to the bottom of the skirt, front and back. To the panels are pasted hollyhocks cut from Decorated Crepe and arranged so as to form the stalk. The headdress is a smaller stalk pasted on cardboard, cut out and fastened to a narrow cardboard band.
