How to Make Crepe Paper Pompons
Pompons may be made of festoons, or pompons strips of crepe paper may be cut and slashed on both edges. Use a strip about two yards long. Gather up into a tight bunch (do not roll it round and round) and twist a piece of spool wire tightly around the center. Double together through the center, then with the tips of the fingers push the pompon into shape and if necessary trim off the edges to make them even (illustration No.8).
