Peasant Crepe Paper Costume
Materials Needed
The peasant costumes of most nations are very similar in design and may be readily adapted to a slip-over. The sleeves are straight ruffles put in as shown in illustration No.3 on the “How to Make Slip-Over Costumes” page and are caught together at the bottom. The vari-colored stripes are cut from crepe paper and stitched to the skirt before it is gathered and
sewed to the waist foundation. The bodice is put on over the skirt.
